Introduction to Aluminum Alloy Cable Trays
Aluminum alloy cable trays are heavy-duty steel components. To adapt to various natural environments and ensure a long service life, extensive work can be done on the surface treatment of aluminum alloy cable trays. Cable tray supports include vertical poles, support arms, or continuous supports, along with frame spacing, installation methods, specifications, and design elevations. Regarding cable outlet points and routing methods, aluminum alloy cable trays should be installed 2 meters above the ground; the distance from the top of the tray to canopies or other obstacles shall not be less than 0.3 meters, the total width of the tray shall not be less than 0.1 meters, and the filling rate of the cross-sectional area inside the tray shall not exceed 50%.

The loads on aluminum alloy cable trays are divided into static loads, dynamic loads, and additional loads:
Static load: Refers to the type, number, and weight/diameter per unit length of cables laid inside the aluminum alloy cable tray, which shall be listed and counted separately according to different cable routing paths.
Dynamic load: Refers to the weight of construction and maintenance personnel during the installation and maintenance of aluminum alloy cable trays. For lightweight trays, dynamic loads are generally not considered (i.e., standing on the tray is not allowed); if personnel access is required, the span should be appropriately reduced.
Additional load: Only applicable outdoors, referring to loads caused by wind, snow, and electromagnetic forces. It is related to the natural meteorological conditions of the installation site and the characteristics of live components.
As an aluminum alloy cable tray wholesaler, we introduce that when cables are laid vertically inside aluminum alloy cable trays, they should be fixed to the tray supports at the top and every 1.5 meters; when laid horizontally, fixation shall be done at the start, end, turns, and every 3 to 5 meters. When installed in suspended ceilings, the opening side of the tray cover shall maintain a vertical clearance of 80mm, and the cross-sectional utilization rate of the tray shall not exceed 50%. When laying cables in horizontal, vertical trays, or branch trays, the cables shall be bundled:
For 4-pair cables, bundle them in groups of 24;
For 25-pair or more backbone cables, optical fibers, and other communication cables, bundle them separately according to cable type, diameter, and core count.
