Direction Determination:

Indoor installation should be arranged along the building's walls, columns, beams, or floors as much as possible. If installed in a public tunnel, the tray shall be erected in parallel on one side or above the pipelines. Meanwhile, consider arranging down conductors and branch lines to avoid crossings as much as possible. If no other pipeline supports are available for use, separate pillars (supports) need to be installed.

Load Calculation:

Calculate the cable weight per unit length on the longitudinal section of the main line of the fire-resistant metal cable tray.

Tray Width Determination:

Determine the model, specification of the cable tray, the length of brackets, the length and spacing of pillars, as well as the width and number of layers of the tray based on the number of cables to be laid, cable diameter, and cable spacing.

Installation Method Determination:

Determine the fixing method of the tray according to the on-site conditions, and select a suspension type, vertical type, sidewall type, or combined type. Connectors and fasteners are generally supplied as matching accessories; select the corresponding cover plate according to the tray structure.

Drawing Requirements:

Draw the plan and section views of the cable tray. Spatial views should also be drawn for local parts, and a bill of materials should be compiled.
