Maintenance of Cable Trays
The maintenance of cable trays can be divided into cleaning and upkeep. As cable trays are installed for long periods, a significant amount of dust and other debris will inevitably accumulate on the trough surfaces.
When cleaning fireproof
Galvanized cable trays, simply wipe off the dust gently with a clean dry cloth. Do not use wet cloths or acidic chemicals, as this will only degrade the tray's corrosion resistance.
For
Fireproof Galvanized Cable Trays, polishing wax can also be used. Over time, the tray's luster will naturally fade and lose its original shine. After removing dirt and debris, apply the polishing wax and let it dry. This not only enhances the aesthetic appearance but also improves the tray's oxidation resistance.
For upkeep: If corrosion is found on any part of the tray during maintenance, apply anti-corrosion paint and allow it to dry. This extends the tray's corrosion-resistant service life— the thick anti-corrosion coating ensures greater structural stability.
