Configuration of Supports and Hangers
Indoor Installation:
Short-span supports/hangers generally adopt a spacing of 1.5-3m.
Outdoor Installation:
Medium-span vertical poles generally adopt a spacing of 6m.
Configuration for Non-Parallel Sections:
When the total width of the cable tray < 300mm: A support/hanger shall be installed on the parallel section side, 300-600mm away from the junction of the non-parallel section and the parallel section.
When the total width of the cable tray > 300mm: In addition to meeting the above requirements, an additional support/hanger shall be installed between the non-parallel sections.
Multi-Layer Installation:
The center distance between layers shall be 200mm, 250mm, 300mm, or 350mm.
Expansion Joints:
For parallel sections of metal cable trays, an expansion joint of 20-30mm shall be reserved every 50m.
