According to the routing direction of step-type cable trays and trunking, submit requirements to the civil engineering and structural engineering disciplines regarding the positions of embedded steel plates and load-bearing capacity required for reserved wall openings, floor openings, and hanger installation. Meanwhile, coordinate with the process, plumbing, and power engineering disciplines.

For concealed metal trunking wiring in the ground, close cooperation with the civil engineering discipline is required to reasonably determine the wiring path and equipment selection based on different structural types and architectural layouts.

Cables of different voltages or purposes shall not be laid in the same layer of a cable tray.
