Hebei Galvanized Cable Tray Direct Supplier

Detailed Description

Prestressing Method

Install a set of tensioning devices under the cable tray. The Galvanized cable tray forms an arch shape under the tension of the prestressing tendons. This generates compressive stress on the lower cover plate of the tray and tensile stress on the upper cover plate—forces that counteract the stress caused by external loads, offsetting part of the working stress and improving the tray’s stress state. Therefore, the prestressing method achieves the dual purposes of reinforcing the tray and correcting deflection. It is simple and easy to control, but has limitations: it is not suitable for correcting complex deformations, and electric ball valves (Note: Presumed technical term error; likely refers to "complex tray structures") are difficult to calibrate.

Flame Straightening Method

The flame straightening method involves heating specific parts of the tray. Heated components expand but are restricted by adjacent unheated parts, preventing free expansion. Thus, the heated areas are compressed. After cooling, contraction occurs again—during this process, the surrounding metal is pulled tightly, generating shrinkage forces equivalent to an eccentric moment acting below the tray’s neutral axis. This restores the tray’s curved surface and corrects structural deformations. Flame straightening offers high flexibility and can rectify various complex deformations of tray structures.

Numerous anti-corrosion technologies are available for cable trays, with surface coating protection categorized into three types: metallic, organic, and inorganic. Metallic coatings can be applied via electroplating, powder plating, hot-dip galvanizing (HDG), solution spraying, metal cladding, etc. Beyond ordinary zinc, common materials include zinc alloys, aluminum alloys, stainless steel, and their combinations.

Anti-Corrosion Surface Treatment Technologies

Powder-coated cable trays: Suitable for harsh corrosive environments requiring high durability.

Hot-Dip Galvanized Cable Trays: The hot-dip galvanizing process involves removing the existing zinc layer (if any) followed by hot-dip galvanizing. It has a similar appearance to conventional hot-dip galvanizing but features a simpler process.
